I would like to know how you measure your horses and the reason why some heights on your website are not the same as the ones published by the Stud Book?
Some horses heights are different from the official Stud Book on our website because they were measured when they are 3 to 4 years old at the time of the Stallion revision. Our website is constantly updated with their current heights once horses are measured every 6 months until they are 6 years old.
As per our clients request, our in-house vet Dr. Bruno Braghetta Alibrando shows how to measure a horse in a correct way a hipometer that marks in inches, which can be converted to hands and centimeters. The horse needs to be on a flat ground and on a right position like Fauno Interagro and Horácio Interagro, shown on the video below:
