The Lusitano Collection™
is a trademark established by the most important Lusitano horse
breeders in Brazil. Their combined experience represents more
than 300 years of excellence in the selection of the best
animals and genealogies in the breed. They have founded their
work on an unrivalled pool of Lusitano horses and many years of
experience with the breed.
As the Lusitano horse finds an
increasing following in the modern day equestrian circles of the
United States, there is a growing demand for the breed among
those looking to acquire the best horses in the dressage,
jumping, eventing, driving and pleasure riding markets.
Throughout the year, these horses have been evaluated, tested
and trained based on their ability to fulfill FEI™ sport horse
requirements.
The Lusitano Collection™
strives to advance the introduction of the Lusitano breed in
North America. Our goal is not only to increase the number of
new Lusitano owners but also to accommodate an ever growing
group of selective and savvy equestrians interested in the
Lusitano breed who know how to distinguish and evaluate the
quality and potential of the horses they buy, as well as
understand the value of buying a horse directly from its breeder.
The Lusitano Collection™
International Horse Auction is an annual event which takes place
during the acclaimed Winter Equestrian Festival in West Palm
Beach, Florida. The event provides interested buyers with the
unique opportunity to meet with and buy directly from the
breeders, rather than an agent, without the hassles of import
fees or quarantine periods while enjoying the additional
benefits of test-riding all of the horses and viewing their
veterinarian records, including most recent x-rays. Horses
presented have been hand selected for their athleticism,
trainability and potential for FEI sport horse endeavors.
