Breeder & Owner: Interagro

A very special young mare, not only for dressage but in particular for breeding.  Her sire, Profano Interagro is one of the five exceptional Interagro stallions (Noblíssimo, Profano, Obtuso, Rocinante and Xerxes) begotten by Cigana (MLC) the super-mare which can be considered as the most important individual in the formation of the IL. Besides Cigana (MLC), Profano brings all the potential inherited through his sire, Legendário do Mirante, from the famous Novilheiro (MV) and his grandmother Toleirona (MV), the latter being also present in Cigana’s genealogy. The head of lineage Firme (SA) is shown twice: once in Profano’s and once in Meiga’s pedigrees. Quimono (AA) from the extinct Coudelaria Alcobia, one of the founding stallions of the modern Coimbra (MAC) lineage is shown twice in Meiga’s pedigree. In conclusion, an exceptional opportunity rarely available.

Trainer's Opinion: This mare is the oldest member of the collection being from the ‘V’ generation.  She got a later start under saddle because she had the important job of providing Interagro a beautiful foal.  Pia and Heather picked her for the riding program because she had great size and a lovely look with a beautiful bay color.  Interagro reluctantly agreed.  (they hate letting their mares go anywhere) She was easy to start under saddle demonstrating an excellent temperament and intelligence.  She is brave and uncomplicated to ride.  She has a super trot that shows potential to have an amazing extension and expression. She likes to please her rider and enjoys their company.  Vindima is another mare that has wonderful potential to make someone very happy!
