All horses from O, P and Q generations (born in 2017, 2018 & 2019) are tested and negative for piroplasmosis. By clicking on each horse´s name/photo on Lusitanos for sale section a new page will open with all info, including the date of the piroplasmosis test.
As of April/2023 we will have a new group of Q horses already radiographed and negative for piroplasmosis available for sale. To have priority access to news and new Lusitanos available, just register here.
All horses under saddle are x-rayed prior to training to determine the soundness and viability of the particular horse to perform to his optimum ability whilst in training or solely for our use. Clients are responsible for the pre purchase vet check and X-rays at their expense.
