Heranca do Vouga is a filly with an above average conformation and correct movements. She displays a good trot, and a ground-covering, rhythmic canter with excellent suspension. With her athleticism and scope, she is an excellent broodmare and sporthorse prospect.

Heranca’s sire, Oceano (MV) (by Danúbio III), is Coudelaria Rocas do Vouga’s main dam line and sire of most Rocas do Vouga branded broodmares. Oceano (MV) is recognized for passing on the sought after qualities of the purebred Lusitano horse, including temperament, intelligence, trainability, and athletic gaits. Her dam, Querida do Vouga, is part of the A-team of Rocas do Vouga broodmares and is by Quadro do Top, one of Brazil’s most important sires of Lusitano sporthorses. She produced many Gold Medal winning horses, such as Divina do Mito (by Ofensor), Exotic do Mito (by Violino (SS)), and Agnus do Mito (by Oceano (MV)), who is a full brother to Herança but unfortunately already deceased. Besides the unforgettable Agnus, another full brother to Herança is Cerne do Mito, a stallion measuring 1.70 m who was the reserve horse of the Rocas do Vouga Dressage Team and presently competing in Young Horse classes.
