A large and very strong gelding, with good bone, an impressive croup and strong hocks. Rienzi is of the “Andrade” type, very gentle and quite easy. His gaits are very regular, harmonious and with suspension, and he is very pleasant and comfortable to ride. Despite being still young, Rienzi is very gentle and confident, and can be enjoyed by amateurs.
Rienzi´s dam is Ficante Interagro, a beautiful black mare of great structure and size – 16 hands – that descends from highly functional Lusitanos like her sire Arges Interagro awarded in Driving and her grandfather Obtuso Interagro (by Yacht SA) in Classical Dressage. Her mother, Odalisca (RC), bred by Architect Raposo Cordeiro, is the granddaughter of Xinita (RC), the latter being the daughter of Saloia II (MV), maternal sister of Novilheiro (MV). Odalisca had a special reproductive function at Interagro as she was a consanguineous to Yacht (SA) and Saloia II (MV), the latter being the daughter of Guerrita (MV), mother of the famous Novilheiro (MV).
Rienzi is the second generation of sons of the great Zepelim Interagro, a stallion of 3/4 Andrade lineage, revised at age 14 when he retired from international competitions. A very expressive stallion and with above average size for the breed, the charismatic Zepelim had good rideability and trainability with strength to execute the combined movements. Son of the Great Champion Quinarius Interagro, whose mother, Jutlândia (SA) was an exceptional producer, Gold Medal at the International Exhibition of São Paulo in 1992, daughter of Urco (SA), who with his brothers Yacht (SA) and Zamorim (SA) are the three sons of Martini (SA), the son of Príncipe VIII (FCN), who are at the base of the Andrade lineage formation. Zepelim´s dam, Ordenada Interagro, was a daughter of Yacht (SA), one of the main stallions of the breed, with Capicua (MLC), an exceptional mare, whose lineage Interagro has been concerned with preserving, from which came the classic Dressage champions Montezuma do Mirante, Nirvana Interagro and Zepelim Interagro.
