He started his basic handling stage in September 2024, which consists of accepting the blacksmith, loading and unloading trucks, allowing itself to be brushed, bathed and patiently dried on the cross-ties. Will start under saddle in February 2025.
First son of the buckskin Leiga Interagro, revised with 75 points, out of Meiga (MAC), a beautiful bay mare imported from Portugal, who left an Interagro progeny of 17 excellent animals, including Spartacus Interagro, Vindima Interagro and Diácono Interagro, all exported to the USA and multi-award winning Zizifo Interagro who, after a great career in Dressage in Brazil, competed in the Paraequestrian in Italy in the Rio 2016 Paralympics. Meiga passed away in 2022, being replaced in reproduction by her daughters Hébrides Interagro revised with 75 points and Isadora Interagro with 78 points – both by Quínio Interagro, Leiga with 75 points and Navalha Interagro with 76. Leiga’s sire is Nordeste (SS), sadly deceased in October 2020. This exceptional black stallion bred by Sociedade das Silveiras (SS) in Portugal was a horse of great character and rideability, his gaits had a lot of suspension, regularity and amplitude; above-average quality walk, in addition to very easy collection and lateral movements. These attributes are passed on to his offspring awarded in Classic Dressage, Carriage Driving and Conformation shows. Nordeste was the son of Trinco (MMT), a son of the mythological Firme (SA); father of Novilheiro (MV), Opus 72 (MV), Nilo (MV) and Neptuno (MV).
Sired by Fellini Interagro , a black stallion from two of the most successful lineages in the Interagro genetic program; he is a son of the multi-award winning Nirvana Interagro, the first Brazilian bred Lusitano to be selected for the Pan American Games and out of Batina Interagro, a daughter of the Ofensor (MV). Following in the footsteps of his sire, Nirvana, Fellini was the Brazilian and São Paulo State Dressage Champion in 2016 (Young Horses 6 YO), in addition to the horse responsible for the prizes “Brasil Hipismo” of Pia Aragão in 2016 and 2017 in the 6 and 7 Year old Horse divisions respectively. The first sons of Fellini under saddle – O generation – have already won prizes in Dressage, in addition to competing in countries such as Uruguay and the United States.
