This beautiful yearling is a mix of Veiga and Andrade blood. He carries himself with pride and his three correct gaits have excellent suspension.
First male of Ida Interagro, brood mare of preponderant Veiga blood and revised with 77 points out of Ópera II (MV), bred by Mr. Manuel Veiga and imported as a filly along with her paternal sister Odisseia (MV), daughters of Bailador II (MV) the continuator of the traditional lineage (MV) at Coudelaria Veiga. Ida´s sire is the beloved FEI dressage champion Baldor Interagro, 2016 Brazilian Small Tour Champion and 2015 Brazilian Small Tour Reserve Champion. Baldor Interagro has produced multiple champion dressage offspring both in Brazil and in the US, including Hadrian Interagro, Indus Interagro, and Hermus Interagro, as well as champion working equitation horses like the multitalented Hermus Interagro and Herodotus Interagro.
Sired by Matreiro Interagro, a stallion with great personality and atittude and has great rideability, his canter is impressive and he is extremely comfortable to ride. He is a son of Divisadero Interagro, a stallion with an exceptional pedigree and lineage composed of 1/3 Veiga and ¾ Andrade, Divisadero’s excellent canter and temperament have made him a successful competitor and stud. Sired by the beautiful Tufão Interagro, a radiant buckskin stallion renown for his beauty and talent as a sport horse, and with the famous Vidago (SA) present twice in his dam line, Divisadero Interagro is the first chestnut stallion to be incorporated into Interagro’s breeding program. Divisadero Interagro’s dam, Saranga (VAN), was bred by Vilhena de Andrade and imported to Brazil from Portugal to preserve the stock of pure Andrade lines at Interagro. Matreiro is out of the excellent Ximbica Interagro, a pure Andrade mare of great dimensions and structure; daughter of the late Yacht (SA) and Flutuante (SA). Ximbica produces very functional animals, such as Canaletto Interagro (awarded in Dressage and Driving before being sold to the USA), Declarante (awarded in Working Equitation) and Juneau Interagro, one of the highlights of the 15th Interagro Yearlings Auction in 2015. In addition to the mare Fútil Interagro, full sister of Canaletto and Juneau. Her son Matreiro Interagro, also awarded in Classic Dressage, was approved as a stallion in 2020.
Tignanello is perhaps the greatest representative of the so-called “Super Tuscans” in the world and represents a milestone in Tuscan viticulture. It was the first wine to age the Sangiovese grape in oak barrels and to include non-traditional varieties from the region, such as 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. The grapes that make it up are grown exclusively in the Tignanello vineyard, of the Antinori family, located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area. Tenuta Tignanello is home to the renowned vineyard of the famous Tignanello and Solaia. Of the 350 hectares of Tignanello, 147 are vineyards divided into small individual plots, of which Tignanello has 47 hectares and Solaia 10, in shale and limestone terrain. In Tignanello there are stones known as Alberese, which are white and have been cut into small pieces and arranged at the foot of the vines, in this way, both sunlight and the heat of the stone reflect on the vines with great advantages in the maturation of the grapes, such as softer tannins.
