A beautiful uphill bay, Carnaval do Mito already has 2 years of training under saddle. He is very willing and learns quickly. He has an excellent disposition. He is sound and healthy and is an easy keeper. He has three good gaits, with an exceptionally nice canter that is naturally balanced and rhythmic. He is the first foal of Riopele born in Brazil, and the only one of this generation.

Carnaval do Mito’s sire, Riopele, is currently standing in Portugal. He has competed successfully in the Grand Prix in Brazil and he also was used as a breeding stallion at the Coudelaria Rocas do Vouga where he has sired several very nice, correct foals. Riopele sired, “Famoso do Vouga” who won the Gold Medal at the International Exhibition 2012, and “Flórida do Vouga” who was awarded the Top Class at the same event. Sired by Hostil, the international Lai-lai,, Riopele is passes on the proven sport lineages of the breed. Ula do Vouga, daughter of the Pan-American horse Luar, produced Africa do Mito, 3 time Gold Medal winner at the International Exhibitions from the age 1 year to 3 years, and was twice named Vice-champion and in 2008 was recognized as Champion of her class.
