Paulina Morales and Leucon Interagro
Solymar, Uruguay (July 17, 2026) – Paulina Morales of Delucchi Dressage and her mount, Leucon Interagro, took their first piaffe steps towards representing their country on the international stage! This spring the pair logged their first Grand Prix score during the CDI competition at Club Hípico Uruguayo, a top sport horse destination in Uruguay. The 12-year-old gelding was bred by Interagro Lusitanos of Brazil, the world’s largest exporter of Lusitano horses. He is by Baldor Interagro, a stallion known for his competitive success at the FEI level, and out of Xelita Interagro, a mare who produced many top sport horses known for their athleticism, movement, and conformation.
Leucon was purchased by Delucchi Dressage for Haras Godiva in 2022. Paulina and her husband Mauricio are longtime riders and trainers of Interagro-bred horses, featuring them in Art Equestre, a celebration of equestrian spirit, classical horsemanship, and equestrian arts, as well as developing them for successful competition. Leucon and Paulina made their Small Tour debut in the fall of 2025, progressing quickly to the Grand Prix in 2026. Their ultimate goal is to represent Uruguay at the 2026 South American Sports Organization (Organización Deportiva Suramericana or ODESUR) Games, which feature a wide variety of sporting disciplines and typically occur every four years.
“Leucon is a special horse with a very sweet character,” said Morales. “He gives his whole heart to his learning and daily routine. He really enjoys affection and loves to be around people. When he enters the dressage arena, he wants to give 100% for me every time. We decided to move him up to the Big Tour because he kept asking to do more and more. We have connected really well together as horse and rider, and I am proud of him and all the people who support us in continuing to progress!”
Haras Godiva, their home base in Uruguay, is owned by Carolin Mallman and Paulina and Mauricio act as manager and head trainer, respectively. They had quite a few other Interagro bred horses, including Bailos Interagro (Noblíssimo Interagro x Dona (RC)), Desordeiro Interagro (Perdigueiro (MAC) x Urzelina Interagro), and Zamorim Interagro (Quinarius Interagro x Mucuna Interagro). Zamorim was a highly decorated driving horse, and both Bailos and Desordeiro were confirmed FEI competitors in dressage. In addition to their competitive accomplishments, Desordeiro Interagro was featured as a ‘unicorn’ on the silver screen for HD Electricity in the UK, while Bailos Interagro was a cover model for Revista Horse, Brazil’s top equestrian magazine.
