West Palm Beach, FL (August 28, 2026) — Interagro Lusitanos, one of the world’s largest breeders and exporters of Lusitano horses, is proud to announce their sponsorship of the 2026/2027 Wellington Classic Dressage (WCD) and Gold Coast Dressage Association (GCDA) show series, a long-standing South Florida dressage tradition based in West Palm Beach. The series is hosted at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center, and also includes two dates in Ocala at Gold Mark Farm. Recognized for providing a professional, welcoming, and highly organized competition environment, the WCD/GCDA series offers a wide variety of classes for riders and horses at every stage of development.

For many competitors, these shows serve as a crucial stepping stone, helping riders and horses hone essential skills, build mileage in the ring, and pursue scores and experience needed to qualify for regional championships within the USEF/USDF pathway.

“Dressage is built on correct basics, consistency, and the opportunity to develop in a show atmosphere that supports learning,” said a representative of Interagro Lusitanos. “The Wellington Classic Dressage and Gold Coast Dressage Association series has played that role for generations of riders in South Florida, and we’re honored to support an organization that helps elevate the sport and the community.”

Interagro Lusitanos began developing Lusitano horses in Brazil in 1975 and has become internationally recognized for producing horses bred specifically for performance—particularly for the FEI disciplines, where Lusitanos are celebrated for their talent, rideability, and presence. Interagro-bred horses have earned significant success in dressage, and the sponsorship reflects the farm’s continued investment in the sport’s future and the competitive opportunities that help riders and horses progress.

The 2026 season schedule for both organizations is available online, with WCD and GCDA each publishing show dates and details throughout the year. Find out more at WellingtonClassicDressage.com
