Wellington, FL (February 23, 2026) — The 2026 season has been a showcase of family excellence for Interagro Lusitanos, with stallions and their progeny executing top scores up to the FEI Level on the Florida winter dressage circuit. Imported from Interagro’s Brazilian training center, the two Interagro stallions Luca Interagro (Viheste (AR) x Callas Interagro) and Oman Interagro (Gladiador Interagro x Chanel Interagro) are now standing in the United States and marked their first show season in 2026. Luca Interagro is the sire of Interagro’s youngest and fastest rising superstar, Quercy Interagro, and all three horses have earned top praise from riders, trainers, and judges at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) in Wellington, White Fences Dressage, and the World Equestrian Center (WEC) Ocala. Piloted by Tiago Ernesto of Elite Horse Academy, the horses competed in classes between Third Level and the FEI Prix St. Georges, with scores over 70% and even two 10s from separate judges at the WEC and AGDF for their centerline, halt, salute!

A 50 Year Legacy of Excellence

Luca Interagro, an impressive and well-built stallion, stands at 17hh and his athletic and sporty type combined with supple movements have made him the modern standard for Lusitano beauty, sport, and temperament. Luca comes from a lineage of successful sport and working horses, and is the grandson of famous stallions with an excellent record of success in international Grand Prix dressage competitions: Viheste (AR) and Nirvana Interagro, continues to impress with his confidence and composure.

Oman Interagro is a majestic blend of old-world charm and modern athleticism, boasting a baroque-style physique paired with contemporary, expressive gaits. With boundless energy and a self-driven mindset, he approaches every task with enthusiasm and readiness to work. Oman’s most striking attribute is his immense heart and unwavering desire to please, evident in his every movement and interaction. His presence is that of a top competitive horse, a true testament to his exceptional potential and innate talent.

Quercy Interagro is a coming 7 year old gelding showing exceptional potential for FEI dressage. By Luca Interagro, Quercy joined his sire during their first shows of the 2026 season, with all three horses making memorable debuts:
▪ Quercy Interagro debuted at Third Level 1, scoring over 70% both days and earning his first 10 for a perfectly executed centerline, halt, salute during AGDF Week 3. The second 10 and over 70% score he received was at the WEC’s Winter Series February 12-15th.

▪ Oman Interagro competed for the very first time, showing remarkable poise and exceptional talent for collection.

▪ Luca Interagro made his U.S. Prix St. Georges debut, earning high marks and a second place finish at White Fences.

“These are such special milestones for these horses and a proud moment for our whole team,” said Tiago Ernesto. “Grateful for my amazing team, clients, and everyone who supports us on this journey.”

Expert Insights from Jorge Sousa of Portugal

Jorge Sousa, renowned Portuguese rider, international working equitation champion, trainer, and long-time mentor to both Interagro Lusitanos and Tiago Ernesto, shared his perspective on the horses and their training:
“Luca is a very special stallion—not only significant in Brazil, but now recognized globally for his outstanding sport characteristics and heritage. His recent performances, especially his debut at Prix St. Georges, highlight his unique journey and potential at the highest levels. Oman is an elegant, talented, and correct horse with an exceptional talent for collection. Our focus with him is on gaining valuable experience in the ring, and he’s already shown remarkable promise. Quercy, Luca’s son, is just starting his journey at Third Level, and his athletic ability and character are exceptional. It’s rewarding to see each of these horses develop and achieve such important milestones.
My background in both dressage and working equitation helps me prepare these horses for a wide range of disciplines, from the precision of the dressage arena to the versatility required for working equitation. The skills we develop—relaxation, submission, collection, and balance—are at the heart of both sports. The Lusitano breed excels at this versatility, and it’s exciting to see these stallions and their offspring demonstrate it on the world stage.”
Jorge, who has worked with Tiago for over 15 years and regularly travels from Portugal to Florida to work with Ernesto and Interagro’s horses, emphasizes the importance of training for longevity and growth rather than just competition, ensuring each horse’s long-term development and success.
